Pastor Jerry Thrower was born in 1956, in Brunswick, GA. His parents took him to Church from birth but it wasn’t until February 17, 1971, that he came to realize his personal need to be saved.
Pastor Thrower married his wife, Susan, in 1979. They have two grown children and six grandchildren.
Pastor Thrower has worked in various ministries and has been the Pastor of four Churches. He came to Central Baptist Church in June 2008. Pastor Thrower unapologetically preaches from and uses the old KJV Bible exclusively. He teaches that the Word of God is the Divine Rule Book and the Final Authority for each individual life.
